Your Yearly Vision Plan for Real Estate Agents
Getting Started

Every successful business starts with clarity.
Before tactics, tools, or goals, you need space to think — and a written plan to guide your decisions all year long.
This Yearly Vision Plan is designed to help you reset, refocus, and intentionally map out both your business and personal life so you’re not reacting… you’re leading.
Start With a Brain Dump
Find a quiet place with no phones or distractions.
Use
real paper and a pen, set a
20-minute timer, and write down everything in your head — business ideas, personal goals, worries, dreams, and to-do’s.
When time is up, take photos of your notes and save them somewhere safe.
Once your thoughts are on paper, your mind is free to be creative — and you now have the foundation for a real plan.
Choose Your Word(s) of the Year
Select one or two words that define how you want to show up this year.
Your word keeps you focused and aligned when decisions get tough.
Examples:
Focus • Implement • Be Bold • Back to Basics • Growth • Courage • Joy • Patience
Top 5 Business Commitments (Not Just Goals)
These are promises to yourself — not casual goals.
Start with your one main focus, then build out the rest.
Examples:
- Close X number of transactions
- Gain X new referral partners
- Hire key staff
- Track and measure conversion rates
- Implement systems (CRM, AI follow-up, phone, etc.)
- Use social media more effectively
If it doesn’t stretch you, it won’t change you.
Top 5 Personal Commitments
Your business can only grow as much as you do.
Examples:
- Improve health or lose weight
- Run a marathon
- Buy a second home or investment property
- Take a long, distraction-free vacation
- Finish a degree or learn a new language
Quarterly Focus
Use your Brain Dump to identify the top 3 priorities each quarter that support your bigger goals.
Examples:
- Hiring support
- Referral strategies
- Social media and database marketing
- Open houses
- Technology and software
- Lead generation and follow-up systems
Break big goals into quarterly action — momentum lives here.
One Thing to Stop Doing
Growth requires subtraction.
Examples:
- Answering phones
- Showing houses
- Working weekends
- Paperwork
What can you delegate or eliminate to focus on higher-value activities?
Technology to Implement
Technology should buy back your time:
- CRM
- AI chatbot or follow-up
- E-signatures
- CurbHero
- Social media auto-posting
Know Your Numbers
Insert last year’s numbers and define what you want this year.
If you don’t track it, you can’t improve it.
Non-Negotiables in Your Schedule
Protect the activities that drive results:
Calls • Meetings • Mailers • Video • Social Media • Open Houses
If it’s not scheduled, it’s not real.
New Hire Planning
Be intentional:
- What role do you need?
- When will they be hired?
- Who will train them?
- What result should this hire produce?
Clarity creates freedom.
Make This a Yearly Habit
Schedule a planning weekend every year.
Review what you accomplished, what didn’t get done, and why.
If something wasn’t completed — ask yourself if it was truly important.
The Single Best Thing You Can Do for Your Business
People with a written plan are
far more likely to succeed.
Clarity creates confidence. Action creates momentum.
